What we do
We’re a decentralized global project, a team of environmentalists and developers determined to make a difference by giving free access to safe drinking water. From 2021 we've been developing UWater -- an IoT-based smart water refill station for public areas, and IoT software solution for other drinking fountains to make it smarter everywhere.

UWater stations are smart water dispensers installed in public places. Don’t need to buy single-use water plastic bottle -- just refill reusable one at a water station UWater for free. One UWater prevents more than 50,000 plastic bottles, which offsets over 5,300 kg of CO2 every year. By combining UWater sensors signal with blockchain technology we tokenize our ecological credits and track them profitably.
How it works
One NFT is linked with one UWater station in the real world. By purchasing one of our NFTs, you get a digital asset with real impact. NFT owners collect up to 20% of UWT$ tokens or NFT plastic certificates produced via one IRL UWater station. 1 UWT$ = 1 carbon credit. Your name will appear on the screen of one of our UWater stations, showing everyone that as part of the web3 community, you’ve made a meaningful contribution to the well-being of local communities -- and all life on Earth, if we think globally (we do! :)). 80% of the tokens value goes to produce and install new refill stations worldwide, monitoring, and servicing them. DAO makes decisions about new places for installation, e.g. India, Pakistan, Africa, Indonesia, and other countries that need access to safe water.
Where we now
Developed in-house both hardware and software. Created and installed our IoT-based smart water refill stations. Start our UWater station mass production and develop IoT software solution for drinking fountains to make smart refill stations everywhere.
The first NFT was sold on the foundation.app. The collector's name shows on the screen on the IRL UWater station. Check out our video on how it works. In Q4 2022 we will mint new NFTs on carbon-neutral blockchains. All profits from NFT sales go to the development and UWater stations production. Each NFT owner contributes to the access to safe drinking water everywhere. One NFT is linked with one IRL UWater station.
UWater stations
NFT collection
We're working on integrating our sensor signal with blockchain technology. One UWater station generates one NFT certificate with prevented plastic bottle amount data via our smart contract on Celo (carbon-negative) blockchain every month. Certificates will be accessible to acquire for companies and individuals on the Plastiks marketplace. 20% of certificate tokens goes to collector which NFT is linked to the station. In Q1 2023 we will launch a platform where our NFT collectors can monitor their impact and check
Carbon credits are digital certificates that companies or individuals can acquire to offset their carbon emissions. UWater station calculates the emissions based on the energy demand for plastic water bottle production. We're in the process of VCS Certification. 1 UWT$ = 1 carbon credits via IRL UWater station. Our next step is to bring UWT$ to the carbon market and track them profitably.

Blockchain & climate action
Fascinated by technology,
In love with the Earth
It may seem that technology and the environment are at odds with each other. Well, a better world requires fairer tech — and smarter choices. To preserve nature’s wonders and sustain as a society, we must try hard to emit less carbon dioxide. Our food, clothes, cars, utilities, waste — all lead to emissions. Did you know that by sending an email, you emit a few grams of CO2, and an hour of watching Netflix means 36 grams emitted?

1 Carbon Credit = a digital certificate that proves that an environmental project (like ours) prevented the emission (pollution) of 1 ton of CO2eq (carbon dioxide) in a given year.

We believe that our tokenization process simply adds a layer of security and credibility to the underlying asset, but in any other way or interpretation, the UWT$ token is exactly like the underlying asset (voluntary carbon credits), for which there are existing, organized exchanges for primary and secondary trading. Importantly, the coding of contracts into blockchain inforces intrinsic self- regulation (information technology governance, transparency, security, self-custody, etc.) and thus leads to an improvement to the quality and credibility of the carbon credit system globally.

Here are some numbers to consider:
single-use plastic bottles
total emissions released for the entire life cycle if bottles went to landfill or were incinerated
1 kg =
4.6 kg
single-use plastic bottles
total emissions released for the entire life cycle if bottles were recycled
1 kg =
2.6 kg
One UWater station helps
save more than 50,000 bottles
offsetting more than 5 tons of CO2
